RAISING AWARENESS FOR WOUNDED VETERANS

Leo Burnett was a sponsor for a veteran gala put on by The Fallen and Wounded Soldiers Fund, and received an ad placement in their event program. Instead of just creating a “We Support Our Veterans” ad, we wanted to take the opportunity to highlight the accomplishments of wounded veterans. We took the idea of the army man figurine and reimagined what they’d look like as a wounded veteran battling for a life in their new post-service world. We were fortunate to meet Bobby, who was willing share his story.

After working with a local 3D printing company to bring Bobby’s figurine to life, I created packaging that told his story in an action hero-type way.

The figurines were given out at the gala as a way to further spread the word about the lives of wounded veterans. We created a website SoldierOn.us to house the video and provide more information on how to get involved and donate to the cause.
